Diet Defense

Tower defense titles have pitted gamers against aliens, zombies, soldiers, and legions of other grotesque, bloodthirsty foes. Cannons, rocket launchers, machine gun turrets, and flamethrowers have seared the flesh of enemies while cutting down the next wave attackers dead in their tracks. If you’ve grown as bored as I have with these turnstile apps, Diet Defense takes the initial premise of a tower defense title and transforms it into a cheeky, amusing game which pits fruits and vegetables against junk food.

The Gravedigger

The Gravedigger

Townsfolk versus Zombies. Mild mannered people pitted against the rotting carrion of the undead. Grab the nearest torch or club and prepare to smash the enemy while defending the leader of your group in this latest mobile title from Behold Studios. The Gravedigger allows players to choose their team and enter the trenches of a local town to wage war in a real time strategy format. Although not without a couple hiccups, this is a decent breakthrough into the genre which actually dares to venture past the landlocked tower defense setup…

Plants vs. Zombies

Plants vs. Zombies

Plants vs. Zombies is a must have. I hate starting out reviews by giving away the ending but it can’t be helped. I might as well tell you that you’ll be reading the gushiest review you have ever seen, so you might as well know where it’s going from the beginning. Wow, where to start?

Tower Defense EVO

For a game that is played on a screen less than 4 inches wide, the graphics and details of the images are incredible. You really get a satisfying view of your entire arsenal of weapons filling the sky with ammunition. It is also nice to see some pretty good detail of your attackers well in advance. The background music is a good choice…
