Spinzizzle

Spinzizzle is an interesting name for a common genre type for the iPhone, the match 3. You know the ones; you have balls or objects of different colors and you need to match 3 of them together in order to move onto the next stage where you do the same thing over and over again. Personally, I'm just not much into this kind of gameplay. I like casual gaming experiences but I like a bit more action in my diet...

Wurd

Wurd is a spelling and vocabulary game.  Basically it shows you a word and it asks you whether it is correctly spelled or not.  Of course it also requires that you have an in depth knowledge of some of the most obscure words in the English language.  For me, I'm the kind of guy that likes that kind of thing.  For most, it is a literary nightmare...

uFall

By |2011-07-10T23:10:01-05:00June 11, 2010|iPhone Reviews|

uFall is a direct rip-off of Doodle Jump. In fact, it should just be call Doodle Fall. I'm not going to give this game a full review because I don't think it merits one. Hell, it even uses the same type of platforms at Doodle Jump. It even has the same androgynous looking character as Doodle Jump. It even has the same controls of Doodle Jump. In effect, it is Doodle Jump, only in reverse...

Black Tie Adventure

By |2011-07-10T23:10:07-05:00June 11, 2010|iPhone Reviews|

Black Tie Adventure is a 2D platformer that has you, the protagonist, trying to save his abducted soon to be wife. The name Black Tie Adventure comes from the fact that you were standing at the altar, waiting to say the I Do's in your wedding best when the aforementioned abduction occurs. Since you hadn't officially sealed the deal on the wedding night, your character is extremely interested in getting his lost fiancée back...

Split/Second

By |2011-07-10T23:10:12-05:00June 10, 2010|iPhone Reviews|

Disney’s latest title, Split/Second delivers an experience unlike almost any Disney game before it. Like the action intense movies that have recently defined Disney's Hollywood lineup, Split/Second is exciting, fast and not necessarily made for kids. This title has the honor of being released at the same time as its console counterparts on the XBOX 360 and Playstation 3...

Report: The Word from Apple, Steve Jobs, iPhone HD at WWDC

By |2010-06-07T12:32:09-05:00June 7, 2010|Features|

And God looked down on us and smiled...the WWDC keynote is here and Steve Jobs is at the helm (That first statement was mostly made sarcastically). That being said, this is the day Apple fans and Apple haters alike have been looking forward to for the last 6 months. In a recent poll I saw, 98% of you out there believe a new iPhone will be announced during Jobs...

Fantasy Date

By |2011-07-10T23:10:33-05:00June 2, 2010|iPhone Reviews|

Fantasy Date is an odd one. Basically it is a game that revolves around a subject that App Store developers can never really deliver to you on your iPhone; sex. At the end of a date, you leave without getting what you knew you couldn’t have all along. When it doesn’t happen, it’s a bit disappointing but the ride to the end isn’t too bad if you’re into pretty girls, dating shows or just enjoy a bit of tongue in cheek humor...
