I have played more than 15 games and have used probably 30 apps on my iPad, but so far the Netflix app is by far my favorite. If I didn’t already have a Netflix account, this app alone would be well worth the $8.99 a month.
If you already have a Netflix membership then you know how it works. If not, then here is a quick rundown. You sign up online, at Netflix.com, and choose a plan, the cheapest being $8.99 a month to get one DVD at a time and unlimited instant viewing. A quick side note, not all movies on Netflix are available for instant view, but the number keeps growing.
After you sign up, download the Netflix app on your iPad. Open it and sign in using your Netflix login. The app will take you right to the movies that Netflix thinks you will like. From there you can click on the “Watch Instantly” tab and select any movie. It will begin to stream directly on your iPad. It’s that easy. Thousands of movies at your finger tips for instant viewing, for as little as nine bucks a month.
Personally, I travel a lot for work. So this will come in handy when my flight has WiFi or I’m sitting in a hotel. We all know how outrageous hotel movies cost. Well with this app you will actually be saving money.
I have watched 4 or 5 movies so far and haven’t experienced any issues. No buffering, no freezing, just extremely clear video. If you are watching a movie and forgot to send an email. Don’t worry about it; the next time you open the app and start that movie, it will pick up right where it left off.
If you are an iPad owner and a Netflix member then this app is a no-brainer. If you are an iPad owner without a Netflix membership, I highly recommend checking it out. In my opinion, this is the best iPad app out there.
