Need for Turn is an iPhone/iPod Touch game that is all about cranking an on screen device around in circles. Seriously. I’m guessing it was specifically made for people who have a competitive nature. There are three options on this game; 20 seconds, 40 seconds and 60 seconds. Once you click one of these options it takes you to a screen with a crank and a light bulb. To complete the objective all you do is turn the crank and keep the light bulb lit up for however long of time you selected. You have to make a complete circle with the crank or it does not count that as a full time around.
The graphics on this game are good for what they are. While playing, the background moves like you are flying through space. The coolest thing about this game is that there is a leaderboard. This is cool because I know there are times when my friends and I are bored (or really drunk) and this would be something to pass the time if you were really seeking something to do.
But all and all, I would say don’t waste your time with this game. If it were free then I would be all for it. This game is fun for the uber-competitive for a few minutes, but even then it does not have any longevity. Oh yeah, and watch for carpal tunnel. After a while, wrist problems are bound to develop.
