Verizon stores will start selling Apple’s thin iPad at their retail stores starting October 28. However, the boastful cellular company will not be selling every type of iPad. They will only carry the Wi-Fi versions and not the cellular connected 3G iPads.

To solve the issue of not being able to directly connect to the iPad through a 3G connection Verizon’s solution is to bundle their own MiFi devices with a sale of a Wi-Fi iPad. Therefore, giving the consumer a Wi-Fi connection through Verizon’s own cellular services. Genius? Perhaps. Is this a step forward in a relationship between Apple and Verizon? Most Definitely.

The iPad bundles will sell for $629.99, $729.99, and $829.99 for the 16 GB, 32 GB, and the 64 GB respectively. A month-to-month, no obligation 1 GB data plan will cost you $20 a month. The larger data plans are $35 for 3 GB and $50 for 5 GB.

The iPad and MiFi bundle is only available through Verizon. So, don’t go into an Apple store and think you’re going to catch this promotion because it won’t happen.

The following is the link to the Verizon website with the full run down on their Apple iPad/MiFi sale.
