LIVE BLOGGING IS HAPPENING

And God looked down on us and smiled…the WWDC keynote is here and Steve Jobs is at the helm (That first statement was mostly made sarcastically).  That being said, this is the day Apple fans and Apple haters alike have been looking forward to for the last 6 months.  In a recent poll I saw, 98% of you out there believe a new iPhone will be announced during Jobs keynote today at 10 am PT.  I tend to agree.  In fact, if it didn’t happen, I would…wait for it…be flabbergasted (a word not used enough in my opinion).

While iPhone Gamer Blog won’t personally be at the conference and not surprisingly, neither will Gizmodo (not by any choice of their own), we will be following along on a bunch of different tech blogs that actually will be there and reporting live today on our site.  I am also trying to find a live audio feed so I can report all of the announcements/important things that come out using exact quotes.

Other than the iPhone HD, what else will be announced?  I’m pretty sure we will also hear an iPad sales report (boring), an app store announcement (it is huge and growing), a negative comment about Android (standard Steve Jobs), possibly some commentary about Google (‘we didn’t try to compete with them in search engine tech’), and possibly a new Apple TV announcement.  What do you guys think?  Any shocking things going to come out of today’s announcement?  I would love to hear your thoughts and predictions.

Oh yeah, one other thing.  I predict that OS 4.0’s public release date will be set for sometime this week.  Pretty please.
