Honey Pot is a game that is very similar to Tetris, but puts a new spin on an old idea. Using the theme of honey and a beehive, the game’s puzzle pieces are shaped a lot like the five or six puzzle pieces that can be found in Tetris, but instead of squares to make the pieces, the developers of Honey Pot used hexagons. This gives the game a unique look that tries to help set Honey Pot apart from being just another Tetris clone...

DreamWorks, with lots of help from Glu Mobile, has created an iPhone/iPod Touch game to go along with their new movie, How to Train your Dragon. I haven't seen the movie yet so I can't tell you how similar or different the game is from the movie. But, I can tell you that the game is a lot of fun...

Aefo Alfie

Aefo Alfie is a, iPhone and iPod Touch clone of Where's Waldo. That being said, there are some differences between the two. First, the developers found an even more unique name (Aefo) than Waldo. Secondly, Aefo is located in specific tourist locations across the world. All of which have very nice background art but overall the experience falls well flat of anything that resembles fun...

Koan is the newest iPhone/iPod Touch game from the same developer that created TheWall, the social networking geo-location app that we at iPhone Gamer Blog raved about. Koan is an addicting time-based puzzler that uses 25 puzzle pieces that kind of look like M&M's. The object of the game is to keep moving and keep refreshing your time, while trying for a higher score...

Sims 3 World Adventures

he Sims 3 World Adventures is a tough game to review. While it does add a lot of new content to the original iPhone/iPod Touch Sims 3 release, it doesn't change the way anything occurs within the game. You are still responsible for making money, doing the day to day banal activities of everyday life, and going to work. The main issue here is that it is kind of hard to find the time and money to be able to take advantage of any of the new features within the game...

Need for Turn

By |2011-07-10T23:14:17-05:00April 20, 2010|iPhone Reviews|

Need for Turn is an iPhone/iPod Touch game that is all about cranking an on screen device around in circles. Seriously. I’m guessing it was specifically made for people who have a competitive nature. There are three options on this game; 20 seconds, 40 seconds and 60 seconds. Once you click one of these options it takes you to a screen with a crank and a light bulb. To complete the objective all you do is turn the crank and keep the light bulb lit up for however long of time you selected. You have to make a complete circle with the crank or it does not count that as a full time around...
