Karnak Attack is an iPhone and iPod Touch 3D first person shooter set in an Egyptian-themed world. The object of the game is to collect as much gold as possible and find the Pharaoh’s gold head (which usually is close to the portal to the next level). Your weapons of choice are a machine gun, a shotgun, and a super weapon...

Indeed, you have the ability to fly, an amazing physique and special powers that help you save one town at a time. Loading up the game, the art and graphics instantly look like this one is going to be a ton of fun to play. And it is, if you take it for what it is and not wish for what it is not...

Street Fighter IV

By |2011-07-10T23:16:18-05:00March 10, 2010|iPhone Reviews|

The Street Fighter series has made its first appearance on the App Store with Street Fighter 4 being released earlier this week. It brings to the table all of the things you likely loved and/or hated about the series in the first place. The old characters are all here including Ken, Ryu, Guile and Blanka. The special combo moves are back as well including the phrases that go along with them. That’s right; Ken's "Ha-dou-ken!" and Guile's "Sonic Boom" can be heard once again. But for whatever reason, the magic behind the series just isn't quite there for me...

Alice in Wonderland

This is not your mom's Alice in Wonderland. This is a game based on a very old story that has been through the mind of Tim Burton. I'm sure you are familiar with Tim Burton, the director of Batman, Edward Scissorhands, and Beetlejuice, just to name a few. If you know anything about Tim Burton then you know he is a very innovative director that tends to see things in a much bigger, sometimes much scarier way. Alice in Wonderland is no different. The game has a creepy, yet playful vibe that keeps you locked into the game play...

Shinobi Ninja Attacks

Sometimes games come from nowhere and surprise the heck out of you. I recently had that happen to me and I got to tell you, it was exciting. The game is Shinobi Ninja Attacks. It has nothing at all to do with ninjas (well not directly). Instead it’s actually based band on a band of the same name from Brooklyn. You play as one of 4 band members...

Guerrilla Bob

For better or worse, most of Guerrilla Bob is a throwback to the golden years of arcade shooters. The good includes some nice humor and quick gameplay. Unfortunately some of the bad stuff from the old days has been thrown in as well; Over-used voice samples and re-used locations and graphics. You'll definitely have fun...

Vanquish: Oath of Brothers

By |2011-07-10T23:18:42-05:00February 5, 2010|iPhone Reviews|

In my time spent playing Vanquish: Oath of Brothers I have felt a wide range of emotions. At first I was bored, then I was interested and finally I ended up feeling somewhere in the middle. The game certainly has its strengths but has a few faults that counter balance them and keep it from being a classic...

Assassins Creed 2: Discovery

By |2011-07-10T23:18:52-05:00February 4, 2010|iPhone Reviews|

Assassins Creed 2: Discovery on the iPhone and iPod Touch plays a lot like an action game that wants you to think it is something else. To give you a little background, Assassins Creed 2, like the first game, takes place in the past with you as an assassin. Its plot is actually...
