Spinzizzle

Spinzizzle is an interesting name for a common genre type for the iPhone, the match 3. You know the ones; you have balls or objects of different colors and you need to match 3 of them together in order to move onto the next stage where you do the same thing over and over again. Personally, I'm just not much into this kind of gameplay. I like casual gaming experiences but I like a bit more action in my diet...

Wurd

Wurd is a spelling and vocabulary game.  Basically it shows you a word and it asks you whether it is correctly spelled or not.  Of course it also requires that you have an in depth knowledge of some of the most obscure words in the English language.  For me, I'm the kind of guy that likes that kind of thing.  For most, it is a literary nightmare...

uFall

By |2011-07-10T23:10:01-05:00June 11, 2010|iPhone Reviews|

uFall is a direct rip-off of Doodle Jump. In fact, it should just be call Doodle Fall. I'm not going to give this game a full review because I don't think it merits one. Hell, it even uses the same type of platforms at Doodle Jump. It even has the same androgynous looking character as Doodle Jump. It even has the same controls of Doodle Jump. In effect, it is Doodle Jump, only in reverse...

Black Tie Adventure is a 2D platformer that has you, the protagonist, trying to save his abducted soon to be wife. Since you hadn't officially sealed the deal on the wedding night, your character is extremely interested in getting his lost fiancée back...

Plane

Before I start talking about Plane, I want to cover what the people at MPad are doing. They are one of the first companies to really attack the iPad as a multiplayer device. Some companies are charging up to $9.99 for a game and that wouldn’t even cover the cost of the controller downloads. But at MPad all you have to do is buy the controller once for $.99 and the iPad games are forever free. Not a bad deal for all of us gamers out there...
